LLM Olga Gurkova – is a Teaching Assistant in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, European Criminal Law and International Criminal Law at Faculty of Law at the Goce Delcev University – Stip in Macedonia. She graduated on the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” – St. Cyril and Methodius University Skopje, and obtained her LL.M degree in Criminal Procedure law at the same Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” – St. Cyril and Methodius University Skopje. Currently she is enrolled in Ph.D. studies in the field of Criminal Procedure in the class of prof. Gordana Buzarovska Lazetic as a mentor. She has participated in a number of conferences in Macedonia and abroad, worked on scientific research projects, and has published various articles in domestic and foreign reviews. She was a member of the working committee for writing the Statute of the University of Goce Delcev. She has organized a workshop ‘’Simulation on trial for murder’’, at the Law Faculty, UGD, 2010, (under the supervision on Professor Lazar Nanev, PhD. In 2010 she attended at the summer course – The Criminal Justice system under the Lisbon Treaty, 28.06-02.07.2010- European Academy of Law (ERA) Trier, Germany. She is a member of the normative commission at the University Goce Delcev Stip.
