Dr. Giorgia Bevilacqua is an early-stage researcher at the Institute for International Legal Studies of the Italian National Research Council (ISGI-CNR). Giorgia has more than five years of experience as researcher and legal advisor in international law field, with specific experience in European law, international law of the sea, international human rights law mechanism and migration’s flows regulation. In these topics, she has developed relevant training and advising skills dealing with academic institutions, public and private entities. Moreover, she is author of some articles and has given lectures and seminars.
In 2007 she obtained a LL.M degree in “European Law” at the College of Europe (Bruges – Belgium) and in 2011 she concluded her research doctorate in “International and community law of the social and economic development”. Since 2012 she is a member of the editorial board of the Italian review “Diritti umani e diritto internazionale” as well as of the NETwork of experts on the legal aspects of MARitime SAFEty and security (MARSAFENET).
