Dr. Anna Liguori Ph.D.in European Law, Diploma of Advanced European Studies (College of Europe- Belgium). Before joining academia, she worked in international law firms (in Rome and Naples) and in the Council of Europe (Strasbourg- France). She is actually researcher in International Law at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, in charge of one of the two courses of “International Law” (in the past in charge of the courses of “International Protection of Migrants”, “Human Rights Law” and “Private International Law”). She participated in several workshop and seminars, in Italy and abroad.
Her publications concern migration and human rights law (inter alia, she wrote a book about procedural guarantees against expulsion in Europe). Her present research focuses on the role of Frontex, in particular with respect to the allocation of responsibility among Member States and Frontex during joint operations at sea.
